Grub Street was such a fun and engaging project, I learned so much not just about design but about communication with non-designers and with designers.
I learned so much about creating a system for a large project, how to create things efficiently but still feeling hand-crafted. Each volume is different every year and I think there is something so interesting about that, this year's theme or vibe was a gritty, Y2K, authentic, edgy and emotional feel. I wanted to convey chaos but organized, showing how people in real life also have to balance their own personal chaos with everyday life.
